About this tool
Many job, exam and government forms only accept photos under 50 KB. A phone photo is usually 2–5 MB, so it has to shrink 50 to 100 times.
The tool tries several quality levels and keeps the sharpest version that still fits under your limit. If quality alone isn’t enough, it also reduces the pixel size a little, so you always get a file the form accepts.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens inside your browser, on your own device. Your files are never sent anywhere, and the tool keeps working even if you go offline after the page has loaded.
Will the file be exactly 50 KB?
It will be just under 50 KB. Forms reject files that are even 1 byte over the limit, so the tool always stays below it.
Which formats can I compress?
JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC (iPhone), GIF and BMP. The result is a JPG by default because every form accepts it. You can choose WebP for a smaller file at the same quality.
Can I compress several photos at once?
Yes. Drop as many as you like. They are processed at the same time, and you can download them one by one or together as a ZIP.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.
